It was a magical San Juan night. Willian, young and full of energy, celebrated the festival on the beach with his friends around the fire. As is tradition, everyone jumped over the flames, but fate had other plans. A trip in the sand caused Willian to fall, and his arms ended up in the fire.

The worst was not just the contact with the flames. There were plastic bottles melting, and the material stuck to the skin made the burns much deeper and more painful. The damage was so severe that the healing process was long and complex.

The time needed for a change

We had to wait two years until the skin regenerated enough to be able to work on it. Patience and time are key when it comes to tattooing over scars, especially as delicate as burn scars.

When Willian arrived at the studio, his story moved me. I knew this project required careful analysis: every scar, every texture, and every space in the skin needed a personalized approach. Each session was one more step towards transformation.
